In the Hall of the Mountain King

This is an arrangement of the Grieg classic from his Peer Gynt Suite, In the Hall of the Mountain King. There are parts for 3 pianos and a percussion group doing simple sound effects and tapping, clapping, drumming. A spooky atmosphere is created at the beginning with piano clusters and eerie whispers and rustling from the percussion group. Then everyone plays the main them repeatedly getting higher and higher and faster and faster. Really exciting to play and a great fun project for a piano ensemble or piano group. Easy to Intermediate difficulty - leaning towards intermediate.
